Peter Burton’s Summary
Peter Burton is Business Consultant. He is a digital media and marketing expert and a veteran of the internet where he started two venture-backed companies, MagicTel.com - Hong Kong's first VoIP phone card business - which did a back door listing becoming e-Kong (listed on the HKSE) and SPACEAsia.com - Asia's first adserving network - which was sold to the CMGI. In 2002 he co-founded Activ8, as the in-house media business for Outblaze. Over the last 8 years Peter has honed his online advertising alchemy skills.
Customer focused, self motivated, personable and creative he has a verifiable record of delivering solutions to business problems. In an earlier life as a Management Consultant he worked with a range of Telecom and Financial Services organisations in Asia and in Europe.
Peter has an engineering degree, a marketing diploma and an MBA from Henley Management College in the UK. Originally from the West Indies, Peter has enjoyed living and working in Asia for 12 years and is based in Hong Kong.
